I just do not understand the comments I get sometimes, to be very honest they are offensive to me.

It's A .....
We are VERY HAPPY to report that our little bean is a HEALTHY BOY!!!!!! The perinatologist, which is basically a high risk OB, gave us a major thumbs up and told us that everything looked fabulous. He said that he was not even going to recommend to my regular OB that I visit a pediatric cardiologist for further heart testing, unless I wanted to for peace of mind. Well, you know who I will calling tomorrow for an appointment for a fetal echocardiogram. You can't be too cautious and I can use all the peace of mind that the professionals want to dish my way. Marcus and I were so nervous when the ultrasound began and you could have literally cut the tension with a knife. Although she knew our history very well, the tech did not say anything for almost 10 minutes and I thought I would die. Marcus, who is the brave one for sure, finally blurted out, "Can you tell us something because if not I think I am going to vomit?!?" She said that there was nothing to tell because everything looks fine. What a blessing for us. There were many tears shed, tears of joy, relief, gratitude and happiness.

Facing My Fear
Well, tomorrow is finally here. The day that most pregnant women look so forward to so they can find out if it's a boy or a girl. However, for me it's a very scary day because my mind tells me that the possibilities are endless and sometimes I find myself thinking, "What will be wrong this time?" That is such a horrible way to think, I know, but I believe that past experience plays a major role in how we view upcoming events. I have been so looking forward to this day, but very nervous at the same time. I do have to thank my Heavenly Father though because he knows of my fears and anxiety and He allowed me to have a very special, spiritual experience on Friday that was just what I needed to ease my heart and mind. I ask now that you all might offer up a little pray for this baby that if it is the Lord's will all will be well and healthy. Thank you all for following our family and for your thoughts, prayers and love.

Happy Mother's Day
Well babe, another Mother's Day and a lot has transpired, but you've made it through. It's funny, during all the stress and adversity I always knew you would. You are that constant rock that so many hold on to for stability and direction. Others may seem to have all the good luck, but they are just looking at you and wondering how come you always maintain your grace and keep your strength... and this is more valuable to them than all the "breaks."
